Get set for the Southport Christmas Spectacular!

The festive season is coming, with families invited to enjoy this year’s Southport Christmas Spectacular!

This vibrant annual event, organised by Southport BID, takes place between 11am and 4pm on Saturday 14th November 2026. Book the date in your diaries!

Visitors will be able to enjoy live entertainment at the Lord Street Bandstand alongside a lineup of festive activities outside The Vincent Hotel, highlighted by photo opportunities with some famous film and TV characters.

Packed with family entertainment to enjoy throughout the day, the fun Christmas event is free to attend and open to everyone.

The Southport Christmas Spectacular is the time when the busy festive season in Southport is officially launched!

Last year's event in The Town Hall Gardens attracted thousands of families throughout the day and a large attendance is expected once again this year.

On stage you can enjoy family-friendly shows and performances including: 

• Toy Story
• K-Pop Vs Saja
• Superhero shows
• Local dance schools
• Christmas choirs
• Marshside Brass Band

Other activities during the event: 

• Meet and greet with Paddington
• Meet and greet with Buzz Lightyear
• Christmas crafts and facepainting
• Giant snowglobe photo opportunity
• Children’s Christmas Wellbeing Sessions
