Tapper's Café

This cosy and contemporary café in Southport's Northern Quarter has been a go-to for locals for over fifteen years.

When it comes to brunch, for us it's a choice between Tapper's famous bagels, their fluffy, decadent American pancakes, or quite frankly...both.

If you're meeting up with friends, the 'Eleven O'clock Stand' may well be exactly what your looking for.  A brunch-afternoon tea hybrid featuring mini-bagels and acai bowls.

House of ivy interior

House of Ivy

House of Ivy is not the destination for quiet brunches and people watching.  The bonkers-but-beautiful Lord Street café bar hosts regular bottomless brunches and singalongs, with DJ's and party nights entertaining in the evening time.

Their varied brunch menu includes sharing boards, shakshuka, sandwiches, and their famous Ivy ramen bowls.  If it's a late afternoon brunch, then Ivy's cocktails are something special too.

The previously mentioned bottomless and singalong brunches are a smash hit.  Be prepared to book early, sing loud, and dance the day away.
