Southport Beer Week 2026

A festival of real ale and great beer, celebrating the pubs and bars of Southport town centre.

Southport Beer Week returns for 2026 with a new ale trail and some more fantastic events!  17 venues and over 90 beers expected to be pouring throughout the week.

Visit a selection of the participating venues, collect stamps in your Beer Week booklet, and be in with the chance of winning a £250 voucher and other prizes. Booklets can be picked up at venues during the festival.

Expect a whole host of events tap takeovers, meet the brewer events, special quizzes, beer history tours, food promotions and much more.  An up to date events list can be seen below.

Events and Activities 

 Moorhouse's Brewery Takeover
📍 The Masons Arms

The famous Lancashire brewery will be taking over the cask pumps at The Masons Arms throughout Beer Week.

Black Sheep and Saltaire Takeover
📍 The Sir Henry Seagrave
📅 20 - 25 May
The Sir Henry Seagrave will be pouring a range of real ales from Yorkshire breweries Black Sheep and Saltaire during the festival.

Wigan Brewhouse Takeover

A cask beer showcase of Northern Soul specialists Wigan Brewhouse at Sinclair's throughout Beer Week.

Polish Brewery Tap Takeover

A 5k run (open to runners of all abilities) between Tap and Bottles and The Windmill, with social beers after the run.

Pub Games Day with Fell brewery

A family friendly pub day with traditional games like skittles, Jenga, Petanque and more.  Fell Brewery will be joining to give away some prizes.
